Bim Modeler

Location – Athurugiriya, Colombo
Experience required: 3+ years

Job responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain 3d bim models for joinery, furniture, and interior fit-out projects using revit, archicad, or similar software.
2. Create and manage project documentation including drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs.
3. Perform clash detection and resolve model conflicts
4. Bim standards and adhere to company/project-specific bim protocols.
5. Assist in the preparation of construction drawings and technical documentation.
6. Keep models updated with revisions and ensure version control.
7. Participate in bim coordination meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
8. Continuously learn and implement new bim technologies and workflows.

Qualifications:

1. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, civil engineering, or related field.
2. Proficiency in bim software (autodesk revit, archicad, autocad, navisworks, solibri).
3. Strong understanding of interior fit-out, furniture, and joinery systems.
4. Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and quantity take-offs.
5. Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
7. Proficiency in english (reading, writing, and communication) is mandatory for overseas project coordination.
8. Experience working on qatar and other international fit-out projects is a strong advantage.
9. Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
