Draftsman

Location:  Athurugiriya, Colombo
Experience required: 3+ years

Job responsibilities:
1. Prepare accurate and detailed shop drawings in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
2. Update and revise existing shop drawings based on design changes, site conditions, or project team feedback.
3. Ensure all drawings comply with company procedures, client requirements, and relevant technical standards.
4. Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and coordination of all drawings.
5. Maintain proper drawing records and file organization for project tracking and future reference.

Required qualifications:
1. Proficiency in autocad is essential for developing detailed shop drawings.
2. Knowledge of revit will be a strong added advantage.
3. Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in drafting and technical drawing within the construction or interior fit-out industry.
4. Strong understanding of drawing standards, detailing practices, and technical documentation.
5. Ability to produce precise, accurate, and industry-compliant shop drawings.
6. Strong team collaboration skills and the ability to coordinate with designers, engineers, and project managers.
7. A passion for design and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
