Trainee Bim Modeler

Location – Athurugiriya, Colombo

Job responsibilities:

1. Assist in developing and maintaining 3d bim models for joinery, furniture, and interior fit-out projects.
2. Support senior bim modelers in preparing shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings.
3. Assist in updating models and maintaining version control.
4. Participate in bim team meetings and learn project coordination processes.
5. Follow company bim standards and guidelines.
6. Continuously develop skills in bim software and interior fit-out workflows.

Qualifications:
1. Diploma, certificate, interior design, civil engineering, or related field.
2. Basic knowledge of bim software (autodesk revit, archicad, autocad) is preferred.
3. Understanding of interior fit-out, furniture, or joinery concepts is an advantage.
4. Willingness to learn and work under guidance from senior bim modelers.
5. Good communication and teamwork skills.
6. Basic proficiency in english for communication with overseas project teams is required.
7. Detail-oriented and organized, with a keen interest in construction documentation.
8. Experience with sketchup, lumion or 3d max will be an added advantage ( not mandatory)
